“We appreciate the work the state Attorney General is doing with his team to bring justice to the citizens and the City of Flint as we deal with the ongoing effects of this devastating water crisis. We want any and everyone who had a hand in creating this man-made water disaster to be held accountable. The decision to file more criminal charges today is hopefully another step toward justice for the City of Flint. Still, it’s sad to think people hired to make sure standards are met, may have known there was a problem with the water in Flint. And according to the allegations, some may have even tried to cover it up while innocent children and adults were consuming water poisoned with lead.”
